Idaho Supreme Court approves revised ballot language for Proposition 1

The ruling comes two days after the court unanimously sided with Idahoans United for Women and Families and ordered state officials to rewrite the original ballot language, finding it failed to clearly and concisely explain the effect of voting in favor or against the initiative. In a new opinion issued Sunday, the court reviewed the revised language submitted by Secretary of State Phil McGrane and Attorney General Raúl Labrador on Sept. 5 and concluded the new statements substantially comply with Idaho law.
