The website had previously stated that the process had been suspended from 8 July, when Farage resigned to stand for reelection in Clacton. The Guardian’s Peter Walker has more. They’re 50,000 of an electorate that has had its views skewed and its votes taken for granted time and time again. But a precedent has been set not to stand in every constituency.
