Ivey seeks major disaster declaration for Alabama to receive FEMA Hurricane Isaias aid
Source Scout · AL.com reports: The Alabama Supreme Court ruled Wednesday to grant Alabama Power the ability to enter a Shelby County man’s property amid an ongoing legal dispute over the land. The one page order from the court stayed a previous preliminary injunction that a Shelby County judge granted in September preventing Alabama Power from accessing Fenn Church’s property as part of a project to install the Autaugaville-East Pelham 230kV transmission line. Alabama Power appealed to remove the injunction from the state Supreme Court, stating the utility had a legal right to enter Church’s property.
