The upcoming weekend will be a busy one for Kalkman, as she and the Wolves’ softball team travel to Eaton for regionals. If Vista Ridge (17-6) advances to the second day of play on Saturday, Kalkman will finish her game, make a 90-minute drive to EchoPark Stadium in Parker, swap out her glove and bat for a jersey and flags and suit up for the Wolves’ flag football team’s playoff game as the team’s second quarterback.
