Julio Aguilar / Getty Images With their tenuous off-air relationship earning renewed attention since reporting from The Athletic late last week, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman opened ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” broadcast with cool professionalism. “It is a chilly November night in Seattle, Washington,” Buck said as he opened the “Monday Night Kickoff” pregame show, but there was no particularly overt frostiness between the broadcast partners — no awkward pauses, glances or body language in their pregame conversation.
