Kauai Police seek identity of man found dead in Kapa’a

KAPA’A, Hawaii (Island News) – The Kauai Police Department (KPD) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was found dead Wednesday morning in Kapa’a. At approximately 6:40 a.m. officials responded to Pono Kai Resort after it was reported that a man was found dead along the shoreline. The man is believed to be of Caucasian descent, in his 50s, approximately 6 ft. tall and weighs about 180 pounds, with light colored, balding hair. No other identifying marks were found. The man was found wearing jean shorts, a belt, and no shirt.
