One man is dead after police officers found him shot in an apartment building early Saturday morning. A spokesperson for the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department said officers were sent to Willow Avenue near 40 Highway. This is in east Kansas City near the 40 Highway and Interstate 70 interchange. When officers got there, they were sent to an apartment building, where they found a man who had been shot. Officers rendered aid, but the man died at the scene.
