Bryant Guevarra, 49, was arrested and charged with numerous offenses including the following: The charges stem from a shooting that occurred at 10:18 p.m. on Saturday when officers responded to Maku’u Drive after receiving a report from Guevarra who said he had been attacked and had shot another man. Officers provided lifesaving measures until Hawaii Fire Department crews arrived and confirmed that Romero succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 10:44 p.m.
