Kimberly School District releases update after firearm threat at football game
KIMBERLY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Kimberly School District confirms it did not find that a firearm was presented or discharged at the football game on Sept. 11 At Friday’s football game, students heard that another student was making a threat and acted quickly to contact an administrator at the school, according to a statement released by the Kimberly School District. The school district has identified the students involved, spoken with their families and is working with the Kimberly Police Department to make their facilities safer. The Kimberly School District thanks the students for acting on the threat quickly and the Kimberly Police Department and Idaho State Police for keeping students and families safe.
