Knicks and Spurs led the NBA in this; Heat can join them. And personnel nuggets
Source Scout · Miami Herald reports: The Heat’s first two preseason games, when the starters played, confirmed what was suspected: corner three-pointers will be a key part of this offense, particularly on passes from Giannis Antetokounmpo. And fortunately for the Heat, the roster has several players who excel at those corner jumpers, which are the shortest three-point shots on the court. Four Heat players (including two summer free agent additions) shot above 40% on corner threes last season – Bobby Portis at 48.3%, Andrew Wiggins at 47.6, Tim Hardaway Jr. at 43.4 and Simone Fontecchio at 42.7.
