KS coach secretly filmed dozens of naked teens at wrestling events before he was caught

Source Scout · The Wichita Eagle reports: A former Salina middle school teacher and high school wrestling coach has pleaded guilty to secretly filming dozens of teenagers showering at sports tournaments held in several Kansas cities during the 2023-24 school year, court records show. Ryan Brungardt, 38, made at least 71 clandestine cellphone recordings of naked boys in locker rooms during wrestling events in January 2024, including ones in Newton, Rose Hill, Hays and Garden City, his plea agreement says. Authorities were able to identify 29 of the teens in Brungardt’s videos.
