One person with an apparent gunshot wound was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Las Vegas police were investigating a shooting in downtown Las Vegas on Friday. The shooting happened in the 900 block of Fremont Street, police said. The suspect was still at large, police said in an early Friday afternoon email. Police were asking the public to avoid the area.
