A Town of Tonawanda man who says he was severely injured when the driver of a stolen SUV crashed into his pickup truck while being chased by police is suing the towns of Amherst and Tonawanda. Nineteen-year-old Patrick J. Prim III, who was 17 at the time he struck Officer Troy Blackchief, was sentenced to five years in prison followed by 2½ years of parole. Police told The Buffalo News on Friday that Savveyon Izel of Buffalo is the alleged driver of the stolen car that crashed on Sept. 3 on Jefferson Avenue.
