LCSO Charges Man with Murder in Aldie Shooting

Loudoun County, VA (September 22, 2026): The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) has charged Roger Bradford, 60, of Aldie, with First-Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony following a fatal shooting in Aldie earlier today. At approximately 12:10 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 24000 block of Quimby Oaks Place.

When deputies arrived, they found Lisa Bradford, 54, of Aldie, deceased at the scene. After a multi-state search spanning Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, he was taken into custody at approximately 3:15 p.m. by the Pennsylvania State Police in Bedford, Pennsylvania where he is being held in pending extradition to Virginia.
