Lorain police name man found dead on Washington Avenue

LORAIN, Ohio — Lorain police have identified the man found dead earlier this month on Washington Avenue as 59-year-old Jorge Pabon and said he died from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators said there is no indication Pabon’s body was moved or dumped at the scene and believe the shooting occurred where he was found in the 1200 block of Washington Ave. Pabon’s body was discovered on Aug. 20 after property owners reported finding a deceased person around 9:30 a.m., according to WKYC . Investigators determined at the time that the death was being investigated as a homicide, the outlet reported.
