Lumen Field ranked top football stadium by USA Today

SEATTLE — It's not just the Seahawks earning championships — it's the arena, too. Seattle's Lumen Field placed number one on USA Today's ranked list of 29 regularly-used football stadiums in the U.S. — just a few months after international visitors and news outlets sang the stadium's praises during the FIFA World Cup. "One of the league’s most raucous and loud settings as the crowd noise reverberates off the cantilevered roof back down to the field," wrote USA Today's Nate Davis. "It also offers spectacular views of downtown Seattle and its gorgeous surroundings." Davis shouted out the 12's famous Beastquake in 2011, which registered on the Richter Scale and made football history, as well as the field's shrine to Washington high school football. The infrastructure of the stadium, which recently saw $20 million of upgrades, also set Lumen apart. "Unrelated, it's also a helluva place to see a concert – especially if, say, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder shows up to front a song or two at a U2 show," wrote Davis.
