MOCKSVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — A man is in custody after a stabbing at a Food Lion in Mocksville, according to the Davie County Sheriff's Office. At around 8:32 p.m. on Sunday, deputies received a report of a person being stabbed at the Food Lion on 796 Valley Road in Mocksville. At the scene, deputies found the victim and suspect inside the store. The suspect was found behind the deli counter and taken into custody. Investigators say that the victim had dropped his wife off at the front door and pulled into a parking spot to wait for her with his children in the car.
