Police were called to East 54th Street and Michigan Avenue on a reported shooting around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, per the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department.When they arrived, police said they found a man and woman in the street with gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, and she died shortly after, according to KCPD.Based on a preliminary investigation, police believe an interaction between multiple people in the street led to gunshots.
