FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. — A Virginia man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a dog to death on the side of a road in Maryland. According to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 1:55 a.m., deputies from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 7900 block of Hollow Road after a passerby reported a disabled vehicle on the roadside. The passerby told deputies that the driver said he had run over his dog, killing it. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the driver, 34-year-old Erfan Behnam, covered in blood and dog hair. Nearby, deputies found the dead dog with multiple stab wounds in a grassy area.
