Man arrested for involuntary manslaughter in fatal Tracy Blvd shooting, police say

TRACY, Calif. — A Manteca man was arrested after police said initial statements didn't line up with the evidence in a deadly shooting. According to Tracy Police Department, the shooting was reported along the 2800 block of North Tracy Boulevard, around 9:15 a.m. on July 25. While officers were responding, the victim, a 24-year-old man, was being taken to a hospital by friends, police said. Despite efforts from medical personnel, the man died.
