MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Neighbors in Rowan County described where they live as quiet and peaceful. They thought everyone got along and were surprised to learn a feud cost a woman her life. Deputies say that 27-year-old Jaylene Ty’rese White fired the shots that took the life of Sarah Sharp and wounded Joshua Obugene. “It’s just a peaceful neighborhood, would never have thought anything like that would happen here,” said neighbor, Scott Kovar. The shooting took place in the 1400 block of Oak Breeze Drive in Mooresville. Officers responded to the scene around 8:30 pm.

He’s charged with murder and attempted first-degree murder. He’s being held in the Rowan County Jail under no bond. White was arrested at a nearby residence and taken into custody.
