TACOMA, Wash. — A Pierce County judge set bail at $150,000 for a man charged in a Tacoma apartment shooting that wounded a 2-year-old boy, according to court records. Avery Allen Lucas McDaniel was charged with first-degree assault and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. Prosecutors allege McDaniel or an accomplice fired the shot March 31 at the Village at Sota Apartments at 2305 S. 96th St. in Tacoma.
