MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man wanted in a Clarksdale shooting that left a man injured almost two weeks ago is now in police custody, the Clarksdale Police Department announced on Monday. On August 18, around 3:20 a.m., Ladell Porter was accused of shooting a man several times after an argument. Porter has since turned himself in to the police without further incident. "We thank the community for its continued cooperation and assistance. This remains an active investigation, and additional information will be released as appropriate," said Vincent Ramirez, Clarksdale chief of Police.
