A 26-year-old man is facing a murder charge in connection with the shooting of a 51-year-old man in Lawrence Monday night, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office. Elvin Joaquin Rodriguez is expected to be arraigned Tuesday in Lawrence District Court in connection with the fatal shooting. Lawrence police responded to the shooting on Farnham Street after several 911 callers reported hearing gunshots, prosecutors said. Officers found the victim at the scene suffering from numerous gunshot wounds.
