A 21-year-old man was hit and killed by an SUV on State Route 167 in Renton late Wednesday night, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP). As a man in a Honda Pilot exited SR167 toward Interstate 405 in Renton a little before 11 p.m., the pedestrian entered the road from the right side and began to cross. The vehicle collided with the man in the far right lane just before the exit breaks away from the freeway. After the SUV came to rest in the neutral area between the freeway and the exit, the driver called 911.
