A man died on Monday night after he was shot multiple times in Hallandale Beach, and the shooter is yet to be arrested, according to police. Just after 10:30 p.m., the man who was shot and a witness called 911 while they were in the area of the 1000 block of Pembroke Road, Hallandale Beach Police spokesperson Grace Mariot said in a statement Tuesday. The shooting happened about a mile away, in the 600 block of Northwest Fourth Court , and the victim and witness left that area in a car, then stopped to call 911, Mariot said. Officers tried to treat the man’s injuries until Broward Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue arrived, but he later died, according to Mariot.
