Man fighting for his life after central Phoenix shooting, police say

PHOENIX — A man is fighting for his life after a shooting in central Phoenix Monday afternoon, according to the Phoenix Police Department. Police say the shooting happened near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road around 2 p.m. The man was found by police with life-threatening injuries and taken to the hospital.
