A man was sentenced Thursday, more than two years after a drug deal in Centreville went wrong and ended in a deadly shooting. Hassan Kanu, 24, was sentenced to 10 years in prison with four years suspended. Kanu was buying marijuana from Michael Alcantara, 18, outside of a business along Route 29. Kanu had gotten into Alcantara's car for the purchase, but shortly thereafter the pair jumped out of the vehicle and opened fire on each other, according to a news release.
