Man hit, killed on Gulf Freeway after exiting moving pickup truck during fight, Houston police say

This happened around 2:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the Gulf Freeway at Scarsdale Boulevard. Police said there were three people in the pickup truck, a female passenger, her boyfriend, who was driving, and her brother in the back seat. At some point, the brother reportedly got into a fight with and started punching his sister, and decided he wanted to jump out of the car. "He tried to roll the window down, he couldn't get out that way, but he eventually opened the back door," said HPD Lt.
