The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting at a Metairie gas station that left one man injured Thursday afternoon. The victim was taken to a local hospital, said Capt. Jason Rivarde, spokesperson for the department. The man was in stable condition, and his injury is not considered life-threatening, according to authorities. The shooting was reported about 3 p.m. at a service station in the 3100 block of Clearview Parkway in Metairie.
