PHOENIX (AZFamily) — One person is in the hospital after a shooting in a west Phoenix neighborhood early Friday morning. Around 3 a.m., Phoenix police were called to the shooting outside of a home near 37th and Georgia avenues , north of Camelback Road. Officers arrived and discovered an adult teen was shot in his lower body. He was taken to a nearby hospital but is expected to survive. Authorities say the suspect has not yet been found, and a description is unavailable.
