Man injured in Prince George’s County shooting

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Police said a man is recovering in the hospital Monday night after being shot in the Hillcrest Heights area. According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the man notified a nearby officer just minutes before 9 p.m. that he had been shot. EMS crews transported the man to the hospital, where police said he is expected to be OK. Upon investigating further, officers learned that the shooting took place near Colebrooke Drive and Fairlawn Street.
