Man killed, 2-year-old child inside vehicle during crash on I-75 in Miramar, FHP says

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on the northbound lanes of I-75, just north of Miramar Parkway, according to highway officials. A man was killed, and a 2-year-old child was inside the vehicle when it was struck on Interstate 75 in Miramar during Thursday evening’s rush hour, authorities said. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver was outside his vehicle changing a tire on the right shoulder when he was struck by another vehicle. Another vehicle then crashed into the stopped car. The child was not seriously injured and is now with their mother, officials said.
