EL MONTE, Calif. (KABC) -- A man who was riding an e-bike was killed in a crash in El Monte overnight, and it comes amid growing safety concerns over the bikes. The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Richwood Avenue and Bryant Road, according to the El Monte Police Department. When officers arrived, they found the unresponsive victim near an e-bike. That man, whose has not been identified, died at the scene.
