Man killed in Portland, Maine; murder suspect shot by police

A man was killed Monday night inside an apartment in Portland, Maine, and police then shot the suspect. The suspect is now in custody and faces a murder charge. Portland police said they responded to a report of a disturbance on Colonial Road around 8:16 p.m. Arriving officers met with a tenant who escorted them into the residence.
