Man killed in Smith County plane crash remembered for adventurous spirit

Kaleb Kramer was killed Sunday when the plane he was piloting crashed in a rural area between Arp and Overton in Smith County, according to authorities. Kramer's best friend, David Kost, said the two met through their shared passion for off-roading and remained close friends for about 10 years. “It was like my brother I never had,” Kost said. The two traveled across the country together, going off-roading and skiing and spending time with their families.
