Man shot and killed in Adelphi
ADELPHI, Md. — Prince George's County Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Tuesday in Adelphi. Authorities were called to the 9300 block of 19th Ave around 10:45 p.m. for a reported shooting. Officers discovered a man at the scene suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The shooting comes days after another gun-related incident in the county when a woman was shot during an illegal car meetup in Landover.
