DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A man is dead after a shooting on Eva Street near North Alston Avenue Tuesday night. According to the Durham Police Department, officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 900 block of Eva Street. When police arrived, they said officers found a man with several gunshot wounds. Life-saving measures were performed on the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. "This is an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the public," police said in a statement.
