Man shot in the leg at Sacramento County business plaza, officials say

A man is in the hospital after being shot in the parking lot of a business plaza, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said. Deputies got a call around 10:45 p.m. about the man being in front of a laundromat in the 5400 block of Madison Avenue near Hemlock Street, the sheriff's office said. There, they found the man had a single gunshot wound to the leg. The man received medical care, including a tourniquet, before being taken to a hospital, the sheriff's office said. Details on the severity of his injuries were not released, only that he is in stable condition.
