Man shot, killed in neighborhood; car found with shattered windows

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man is dead after an overnight shooting in a DeKalb County neighborhood. Police identified the victim as 42-year-old Omer Mohammed Ahmadi. The suspect, 24-year-old Parke Russell, is charged with murder. Police first responded to the scene along Fisher Trail near Briarcliff and Clairmont Roads just before midnight. Officers found Ahmadi been shot and killed outside a home.
