CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A man was shot and killed overnight Saturday in south Charlotte, police said . The shooting happened sometime before 3 a.m. 5, at an apartment complex on Mereview Court near Quail Hollow. Officers said they arrived to find 33-year-old Elliot Butler with an apparent gunshot wound. Butler reportedly died from his injuries at the scene.
