Man shot, killed outside of family gathering in Prescott Valley, police say

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is dead, and another man is in custody after a shooting outside of a family gathering in Prescott Valley on Saturday night, according to officials with the Prescott Valley Police Department. Prescott Valley officers responded to the Moose Lodge on 6th Street after reports of shots fired around 6:40 p.m. Officials said the shots were fired during a fight outside of a family gathering. A 53-year-old man died and a 20-year-old man was taken into custody, according to Prescott Valley police. Officials said the cause of the fight is unknown.
