Man struck, killed by vehicle in hit-and-run crash on Southeast Side, San Antonio police say

A man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning on the Southeast Side, according to San Antonio police. Officers responded to a reported crash just after 6 a.m. on the access road of Southeast Loop 410 and Rigsby Avenue. When they arrived, they found a man with injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. A witness told police that a car allegedly accelerated while the unidentified man was in the crosswalk and struck him.
