Amy Klobuchar, the Minnesota Star Tribune reported. โWe have found no record of my ever meeting or speaking with this murderer who will be spending the rest of his life in prison,โ Klobuchar said in an emailed statement. "This is the second time he has falsely brought me into his tormented web and no one should be giving him more attention." โDoes this court have the authority to bring her in to testify?โ Boelter asked Hennepin County Judge Juan Hoyos. โOr is she above the law?โ Boelter also told the judge that his rights had been violated during the 14 months he has been in federal custody, the Star Tribune reported. The Hortman familyโs golden retriever was gravely injured in the shootings and had to be euthanized. In state court, Boelter faces two counts of murder for killing the Hortmans, four counts of attempted murder, impersonating a police officer and animal cruelty.
