The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what it believes to be a murder-suicide. A married couple was found dead in their home at around 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 8. Friends found the couple dead from gunshot wounds in their home on Stone Creek Trail in the Fredonia community, according to the sheriff’s office. Since it is believed to be a murder-suicide, the sheriff’s office is not releasing the couple’s identities at this time.
