The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Caswell County Sheriff's Office after a mass shooting Wednesday morning in Caswell County. The Caswell County Sheriff's Office said the shooting happened around 8:30 a.m. on Brooks Road in the Prospect Hill community. Deputies and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the scene. Authorities said there is no threat to the general public at this time.
