Around 3:45 p.m., Mesa detectives were called to a home near Frye and McQueen roads to arrest a suspect wanted for a domestic violence incident out of Mesa. Detectives received information confirming he was at the Chandler home. Authorities arrived and began to communicate with the suspect, who was still inside the home. Police say as detectives were telling the man to surrender, he told them he was armed with a rifle.
