The Mexican Baseball Fiesta is celebrating its 15th year this weekend at American Family Fields with games, food and music in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Luis Gamez, operations chief of the Mexican Baseball Fiesta, says the event started in Tucson before moving to Maryvale 14 years ago. For the first time, Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University will take the field against Mexican Pacific League teams.
