Michael Locastro, of Westbury, identified as motorcyclist killed in Jericho crash

Credit: Jonathan Singh A 56-year-old man riding a motorcycle Monday afternoon on Cedar Swamp Road in Jericho was killed after the bike collided with a car attempting a left turn, the Nassau County Polce Department said. The man identified Tuesday as Michael Locastro, of Westbury. was heading north about 3:28 p.m. on a 2025 Indian motorcycle when the driver of a 2020 Subaru "made a left turn onto Old Jericho Turnpike from Cedar Swamp Road causing a collision," the police department said. Locastro "suffered serious injuries" and was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
