ANCHORAGE, Alaska ( KTUU /Gray News) - Eight people were killed when a chartered aircraft crashed near a remote western Alaska radar site last week, authorities said. Army Corps of Engineers identified two Anchorage employees killed in the crash as Sabrina Hansen, a fire protection engineer, and Hayden Scalis, a mechanical engineer. The two were on a routine site visit to inspect and maintain a new fire suppression system, the agency said. The Eleventh Air Force identified a third victim as 2nd Lt. Borsich, 23, a project programmer assigned to the 611th Civil Engineer Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
